As one of a specially written series of bible stories for toddlers, this board book tells the Easter story in a very simplified way. It would work well for the very young who you perhaps would like to experience a taste of bible stories without going into too much detail.
This board book is written in a very simple way, with just one or two sentences per page that make it suitable for very young toddlers, or perhaps might be useful for those who are just trying to learn to read for themselves. Dealing with the Easter story it uses easy to understand language, so Jesus doesn’t have the passover supper with his disciples, but rather eats a special supper with his friends. It misses out the betrayal of Jesus by Judas, but we still get a crowd of people shouting Kill him! Kill him! when Jesus is brought before Pilate. We see the crucifixion, and the stone that has been rolled away from the tomb before learning that Jesus is alive.
